Get airside access at YQF

Below you will see a list of items required to attain the proper clearance and documentation for your business at the Red Deer Regional Airport. Important Notes

High visibility vests and valid airport identification, with head and shoulder photo, are required at all times when accessing Red Deer Regional Airport airside property.

When driving airside, vehicle operators must have a valid driver’s licence and vehicle registration available for presentation upon demand.

Restricted Access and Identification Passes must be picked up in person, from the Airport Administration Office located at:

2nd Floor, Hangar A, 3824 – 21A Street, Springbrook, AB T4S 2E8

Security Clearances

Red Deer Regional Airport Authority has two levels of security clearance.

  1. A Restricted Area Pass (RAP) is granted to persons who meet the eligibility requirements for access to restricted areas; a Criminal Record Check may be requested.
  2. An Identification Pass – Non-Restricted Airside Area is granted to persons who meet the eligibility requirements for airside access, including driving privileges on aprons and/or taxiways.

Applying for Clearance

Complete the Consolidated Security Application and submit it to the Director, Safety & Security; follow the requirements appropriate to the clearance being requested.
