Media Inquiries

Red Deer Regional Airport Authority is responsible for the management and development of YQF Airport. Red Deer Regional Airport is subject to the aviation regulations mandated and enforced by Transport Canada.

It should be understood that there are many businesses who operate at Red Deer Regional Airport, and Red Deer Regional Airport Authority will not comment on the behalf of our tenants. Any media inquiries specific to other organizations or entities operating at the airport should be directed to the spokesperson for that particular organization. A list of current airport tenants can be found through our Airport Tenants directory.

Filming

All filming, photography and video activities at Red Deer Regional Airport require authorization in advance.

All persons or organizations who wish to perform any filming, photography or video activities (filming activities) for commercial, media or not-for-profit purposes at Red Deer Regional Airport must coordinate their request for authorization via email to our Director, Safety and Security.
